DETAILS
REQUIREMENTS
- All players must participate from within a "permitted country". Players are not required to compete from the country indicated on their passport.
- Permitted Country List: Angola, Botswana, Eswatini, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa, Zimbabwe
- Each team is permitted a maximum of 2 players not holding African Citizenship / Residency.
- If your team meets the regional restrictions, but you cannot sign-up, please open a ticket in Discord so our admins can verify your team's eligibility, and assist you with registering.
- All participants must be 18 years of age or older by 29 March 2026 in order to compete.
- All participants must have entered their CODM Account Details here!
- Each team is made up of 5 members and up to 1 substitute.
- Only registered players are allowed to compete.
- Players and teams may only play in 1 regional qualifier.

GROUPS FORMAT
- Teams will be placed into groups with up to 4 teams each.
- Depending on the amount of teams, the top 1-4 teams will progress from each group into Playoffs.
- This will be confirmed once registrations have been completed.
PLAYOFFS FORMAT
- Teams will be placed in a 16-Team Double-Elimination Bracket
- Seeding will be based on teams' final position in Groups.
ROSTER CHANGES
- Roster changes will not be permitted once the tournament starts.

Quick Rules
CREATE A ROOM
- The hosting team (indicated on the match page) must create a private room
- In the CODM app click on Multiplayer, then click on the menu icon in the top right corner and select 'Private'
- Click on 'Invite', then 'Invite' again. Copy the link generated and send it in the match chat on the Carry1st Africa Cup website. This will allow your opponents and teammates to join.
- Once everyone has joined the room, set a password so that no one else can join
- Host rotates between teams
GAME SETUP
- Game Modes: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Control
- A room password must be set once all players have joined the room
- Map selection:
- Groups Stage: Maps will be randomly selected and listed on the match page.
- Playoffs Stage: Maps will be selected by captains through the VETO system.
- The non-hosting team will choose a side
- Spectator slot must be locked, unless stated otherwise by Administration.
GAME MODE ORDER

BROADCAST MATCHES
Note that for all Broadcasted Matches, a series of punctuality timers will be made use of. These are listed as follows:
- Teams have 10 minutes to be in-game/lobby and ready to start by the scheduled start time. This time will be communicated with teams beforehand. Note that in a rolling schedule, these times can be affected by the game before it.
- Should teams not be in-game and ready by this point, they will have an additional 5 minute timer before they are forfeited from Map 1.
- Should teams not be in-game and ready by this point, another additional 5 minute timer will be started before they are forfeited from the series.
- Teams will have an accumulative 10 Minute Tech timer that will span across all maps in a series. Should this timer elapse - the game will be continued as a 4v5, or forfeited.
