DETAILS
REQUIREMENTS:
- All participants must currently reside in, and hold the national identification documents of Uganda, while having a valid Passport.
- All participants must be 18 years of age or older by 24 April 2025 in order to compete.
- All participants must have entered their CODM Account Details here!
- Each team is made up of 5 members and up to 1 substitute.
- Only registered players are allowed to compete.
QUALIFIER DATES:
- Sign Up Deadline: 22 May - 18:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Groups Start Date: 23 May - 19:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Fixture 1: Friday, 23 May – 19:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Fixture 2: Saturday, 24 May – 18:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Fixture 3: Saturday, 24 May - 20:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Fixture 4: Sunday, 25 May – 18:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Fixture 5: Sunday, 25 May - 20:00 EAT (UTC +3)
- Playoffs Stage 1: May 31 - June 1
- Playoffs Stage 2: June 15

GROUPS FORMAT:
- Teams will be placed into groups.
- Depending on the amount of teams, the top 1-4 teams will progress from each group into Phase 1 Playoffs.
- This will be confirmed once registrations have been completed.
PLAYOFFS FORMAT:
- Teams will be placed in a 16-Team Double Elimination Bracket
- Seeding will be based on teams' final position in groups.
ROSTER CHANGES:
- Roster changes will not be permitted once the tournament starts.
TIE BREAKERS:
- In the case of any ties in the groups, the following will be used to break them, in the following order:
- Head to Head
- Map Diff
- Round Diff

Quick Rules
CREATE A ROOM
- The hosting team (indicated on the match page) must create a private room
- In the CODM app click on Multiplayer, then click on the menu icon in the top right corner and select 'Private'
- Click on 'Invite', then 'Invite' again. Copy the link generated and send it in the match chat on the Carry1st Africa Cup website. This will allow your opponents and teammates to join.
- Once everyone has joined the room, set a password so that no one else can join
- Host rotates between teams
GAME SETUP
- Game Modes: Hardpoint, Search & Destroy, Control
- A room password must be set once all players have joined the room
- Map selection:
- Groups Stage: Maps will be randomly selected and listed on the match page.
- Playoffs Stage: Maps will be selected by captains through the VETO system.
- The non-hosting team will choose a side
- Spectator slot must be locked
GAME MODE ORDER
All Matches will be Bo5 unless stated otherwise. The Game Mode Order is as follows:

The team leader who creates the custom lobby must make sure each game has the following settings respectively:

- Phase 2 Playoffs Schedule:
- For Phase 2, all matches will happen on a ROLLING SCHEDULE – this means that match start times can be affected by the match before it. We suggest all players must be ready 30 minutes before the outlined time.

- LB Round 4: Sunday, 15 June, 18:00 EAT (UTC +3)

BROADCAST MATCHES
Note that for all Broadcasted Matches, a series of punctuality timers will be made use of. These are listed as follows:
- Teams have 10 minutes to be in-game/lobby and ready to start by the scheduled start time. This time will be communicated with teams beforehand. Note that in a rolling schedule, these times can be affected by the game before it.
- Should teams not be in-game and ready by this point, they will have an additional 5 minute timer before they are forfeited from Map 1.
- Should teams not be in-game and ready by this point, another additional 5 minute timer will be started before they are forfeited from the series.
- Teams will have an accumulative 10 Minute Tech timer that will span across all maps in a series. Should this timer elapse - the game will be continued as a 4v5, or forfeited.
