Which countries are participating ?

The tournament features teams from: Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa, North Africa (Egypt & Morocco), Kenya, Uganda, West Africa Francophone (Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Senegal), One Wildcard Slot

What is the Wildcard Slot ?

The Wildcard Slot is designed specifically for teams from countries not included in the primary seven qualifying regions. We recognize the incredible talent and dedication from all corners of the continent, and this is our way of making sure no country is left behind.

When and where will the Grand Finals take place ?

The Carry1st Africa Cup LAN Grand Finals will take place on August 30th and 31st, 2025, in Lagos, Nigeria.

What is at stake in the tournament ?

Teams will compete for a $15,000 prize pool and, more importantly, a spot to represent the entire African continent at the Call of Duty: Mobile World Championship 2025.

Is this tournament online or offline ?

Regional qualifiers will take place online, leading to the offline LAN Grand Finals in Lagos.

How can I watch the tournament ?

Matches will be streamed live across Carry1st’s official platforms, with broadcast details to be announced soon. Expect top-tier commentary, thrilling plays, and all the action from Africa’s CODM elite.

How old do I need to be in order to participate in the Carry1st Africa Cup ?

All participants will need to have been 18 years old by the 24th of April in order to participate and register.

Am I allowed to play with a Tablet in qualifiers ?

No, only Mobile Phones are permitted to be used during all stages of the Carry1st Africa Cup.

Can I play in a regional qualifier if I live in the country but have the identification documents of another country ?

Players are only permitted to participate in a qualifier if they hold the identification documents of that country, and are currently residing in it.

Can I have players from multiple countries during the Wild Card Qualifier ?

No, all players in any team MUST be from the same country.
