Participants must reside in one of the following countries:

• Egypt (EG)
• Rest of Africa (RoA): South Africa, Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Cameroon, Senegal, Rwanda, Tanzania, Côte d'Ivoire, Benin, Uganda, Tunisia, Algeria

Each team is allowed a maximum of two (2) foreign players. The following rules apply:

• EG Region
  •  Any player not resident in Egypt is considered a foreign player.
  •  A team consisting of non-Egyptians who live in Egypt is still considered to have foreign players.
  • A team with foreign players who live outside Egypt must cover the transportation costs for these players to Cairo.
• RoA Region
  • Any player not resident in the country their team is selecting to play from is considered a foreign player.
  • Example: A player residing in Kenya is considered a foreign player if their team is playing from South Africa in the RoA Qualifiers.
    
  • Teams are responsible for the transportation of their foreign players to Cairo or to the qualifying country for RoA.

Up to 32 teams compete online in double elimination brackets to represent their region.

Team Members shall all be female, no male players are allowed in any games of MWI 2025. Players' gender will be scrutinised through passport or ID card.

You need to be over 16 years of age or older in order to compete.

Mobile phones are allowed to be used for this Qualifier. Emulators and tablets are not allowed.

Participants need to be part of a team in order to enter team-based tournaments

Teams are allowed a minimum of 5 and maximum of 6 players (5 starting players, 1 substitute).

A maximum of 32 teams per qualifier is allowed, so 64 teams in total
